Information
Joann Cote, born in Montreal in 1967, self-taught painter, has obtained her diploma of college studies in woman fashion drawing at Marie-Victorin College.
Inspired by costume history, cinema, theater and also by current events, she paints the modern woman caught in 21st centuryfs fast pace.
Her work embodies the rhythm of this pace which transcends through her paintings. Recipient of many awards, her paintings are found in many private and corporate collections in both Canada and the United States.
