MARK
KELLETT A.O.C.A.
"My colourfield abstracts have always been about the
poetry of colour and the expression of design. With
each original serigraph or painting my endeavor is
to merge the physical laws of colour theory with the
mathematics of design to create a strong visual impact.
This unique form of art has been finely tuned to maximize
the rich depth of colour you see before you. Painted
layers fuse and become one of the many fluid moments
required to finish each piece. The water soluble pigment
dries in the screen and when reactivated the wet painting
is transfered to the fine art paper. The resulting
mature colours and depth of image occur from the merging
of two or more of these layers. My unique layered
paintings are by proper definition original serigraphs
or a more common reference would be "silkscreen mono
type"."
Selected
Corporate Collections
I
estimate my original serigraphs to be in over 300
corporate art collections.
